The Donnybrook Lions Club has donated $1,000 to support the ongoing production of the Preston Press, the free monthly community newspaper published by the Donnybrook Community Resource Centre (CRC).
With printing and production costs continuing to rise, community donations play an important role in helping the CRC keep the newspaper available to local residents.
Lions Club secretary Bruce Hearman encouraged other clubs and community members to contribute towards the Preston Press to help ensure this valuable community service can continue.
The Lions Club is pleased to support the CRC and recognises the importance of the Preston Press in keeping the Donnybrook-Balingup community informed and connected.
The donation will also be matched by Community Bank Donnybrook, providing further support for the newspaper and highlighting the benefits of local organisations working together for the community.
