The Donnybrook Lions Club Christmas Carols are done and finished for another year, and we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who attended on the night and to everyone who helped make the night so special.
We are grateful to John Hayes and his team from Events West, who went above and beyond in helping us put together the night. With the support of local businesses like this, we were able to make the night bigger and better than we ever could have imagined.
Our Lotterywest grant certainly goes a long way in making events like this happen, but without the help from businesses like Events West, we would not have been able to pull off the night as successfully as we did.
Donnybrook Lions Club Christmas Carols – What Happened?
The Donnybrook Lions Club Christmas Carols were held on Saturday, December 10th. The night was filled with festive fun, with Christmas carols, a Santa visit arriving by postie bike, and a range of delicious treats on offer. The members of the Donnybrook Lions Club were kept busy on the BBQ cooking up the sausage sizzle for everyone.
The evening was the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit, and we were delighted to see so many people enjoying themselves. We had over 300 people in attendance, many of them stayed until the end of the night.
